No. EnggiBasis is built for preliminary sizing, FEED checks and independent cross-checks of the routine calculations you do every day — line sizing, pump/valve/vessel sizing, relief loads, shortcut distillation. It is not intended for design-of-record or rigorous multi-phase flowsheet simulation with proprietary thermodynamics; dedicated process simulators still lead there, and every result tells you the method it used so you can verify it.

What standards are the calculations based on?

Published, verifiable methods: API 14E, API 610, API 520/521, API 12J, TEMA, Bell-Delaware, ASME Section VIII, ASME B31.3, IEC 60534, GPSA, IAPWS-IF97, Fogler, McCabe-Smith and more. Each result names the method it used.
